Michelle has a background in fitness, Pilates, yoga, kinesiology, and physiotherapy, before her passion for pregnancy and childbirth naturally led her into the world of pelvic health physiotherapy. She began studying pelvic health during her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at McGill University in 2017 and has since completed advanced training in pregnancy, pelvic pain - including endometriosis and bladder pain - diastasis rectus abdominis, cesarean birth recovery, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence.
Michelle's goal is to empower her clients and help them feel more confident in their bodies. She takes an individualized approach, helping each client understand the factors contributing to their symptoms and find the strategies that work best for them. Her treatment combines hands-on therapy with education, movement, and lifestyle strategies to support both recovery and long-term pelvic health.
Michelle has a special interest in persistent pelvic pain, including painful intercourse, and in helping her clients create a greater sense of safety within their nervous system. Her treatment always considers the important connection between the mind and body in the experience of persistent pain.
Michelle is especially passionate about supporting people throughout pregnancy and helping them prepare both mind and body for a positive birth experience. She stays up to date with the latest evidence on childbirth and loves empowering her clients with the knowledge and confidence to navigate birth and postpartum recovery.
Outside of the clinic, Michelle is a proud mom of two boys and a girl, and loves watching them grow, learn, and discover the world.
